Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Full Movie Tagalog Version 13l CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY is one of those timeless, all-time favorites that everybody has seen at some point in their life. It's also one of the few films that people haven't actually seen for what it is (a children's movie) but more as an escape into their own world of fantasies. And maybe, if they're old enough to know what they're watching, as a cultural experience where one can see how different their upbringing was from the lives these children were living. Written by Roald Dahl, the book has become a literary classic. More people have read this book than have seen the film. It's certainly worth checking out the film version on its own, on television or video, for pure enjoyment on its own merit or as a cultural experience. The story takes place in the time after WWII when children are on their own for longer periods of time. And they are on their own not only physically but also mentally, because adults are either out of touch or just plain out of it, and it's up to good old Charlie who is just doing his job with the Willy Wonka/Chocolate Factory factory to keep all these kids safe and sane. Willy Wonka, played to the hilt by Gene Wilder, is the master of fantastical whimsy for children, an eccentric genius among his peers. He has a chocolate factory that nobody can open but he. Just ask anybody who has tried - including other candy moguls who are trying their darndest to break into his vault to steal his recipes. And he's not really too happy about it. The story begins with Wonka announcing his five Golden Ticket winners - five kids who will get a tour of the factory and a lifetime supply of chocolate if they are clever enough to find it first. From there, the film follows the tour, with the kids getting into all kinds of trouble. Most of it is centered around the fact that Wonka has intentionally designed the tour to seem like a game, with barriers and obstacles to overcome. This means that unlike other tours like this one, Wonka requires all five ticket holders to be present at his facility at once for each stage of the tour. But aside from this caveat, this is your typical magical world trip with a host who cannot stop from being entertaining and showing off his place even if he tried - which he doesn't. Kids will love it because there's candy and ice-cream and gumdrops thrown around everywhere. Wonka treats each kid as a person, not a kid. Adults will love it because there's a lot of snarky humor to be had in the interactions between Wonka and the kids - not to mention the other adults in the film who tend to ignore what is going on around them or just plain don't have a clue. This is all good fun until one of the children, Augustus Gloop, has an accident and ends up in the chocolate river. And this, won't you know it, is when things get really interesting. cfa1e77820
